Moving Bikes

A group of friends meet at Lee’s barn to move bikes from there to the container. At this point the practical realities of exporting a container threw us a steep learning curve. Once the bikes were on the truck and headed to Tacoma, we thought the delays and problems were over until they arrived in Maputo, or maybe even Biera. Not so.

Shipping Arrangements

Arranged shipment with Maersk to take the bikes from Tacoma to Maputo, Mozambique and Glacier Carriers to haul the loaded container from the Flathead to Tacoma. If Bud at Glacier Carriers only knew he might not have sent a brand new driver “just over to the coast for his first trip”.

The Container

We purchase a 20 foot container to ship the bikes in. We are accepted into the Holy Given School of Missions, to practically prepare for fulfilling the vision that God gave Ron, oh my, 30 months ago!
